  • Senior Instructional Designer2008


    Designed, developed, and implemented web-based and instructor-led training solutions resulting in increased adoption of new processes and increased sales. Solutions implemented included translation and design considerations for French Canadian, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese. Other responsibilities included managing the development efforts of vendors and creating reusable design processes and tools.

    General Motors University

    Designed and developed easy-to-implement and easy-to-use Electronic Performance Support Systems (EPSS) and Lectora-based training resulting in increased internal clientele and cost-savings and implementation of formal design processes. Colleges served include; Product, Program, Engineering and Manufacturing in both North America and China.

    Deloitte, LLC.

    Coordinated content gathering and WBT storyboard creation for the Michigan Department of Human Services benefit management system while consulting with clients regarding WBT creation and industry standards.

  • Instructional Designer2005-2007

    DTE Energy

    Designed, developed, and implemented WBT and help system for Gas Operations using RoboHelp, Captivate, and Lectora resulting in reduced service call errors, reduced dropped calls, and compliance with Michigan Public Service Commission standards. Other responsibilities included facilitating Flash skills workshops and troubleshooting existing Flash-based courses.

  • Lead Engineer IIIa2002-2005

    General Motors University

    Provided direction regarding product development and branding of proprietary EPSS and conducted formal needs analysis, design and development of performance interventions for students of the Engineering College.

  • Lead Instructional Systems Designer and Trainer2000-2002

    Wayne State University

    Led the analysis, design, and development of performance solutions focused on using the SCT Banner2000 system and WSU business practices. The solutions resulted university-wide budget savings and an expedited implementation. Also responsible for management of subsystem projects and delivery of instructor-led training across the organization.

  • Staff Instructional Systems Designer1998-2000

    General Motors University

    Assisted in analysis, design and development of courseware using Lectora following a formal process for the Engineering College at General Motors University. Courseware incorporated instructor-led, web assisted, and self-study materials which improved robotic sealant applications in production facilities across North America.

  • Instructional Designer1997-1998

    American Communications Network

    Determined training needs based on informal/ formal needs analysis. Duties include development of call center training and software training. Other duties include development and presentation of motivational multimedia for use in national training's (3,000+ trainees).

  • Training Consultant1996-1997

    Future Three Software

    Developed training materials for software used in the automotive/ EDI industry, implemented instructor-led training, and managed software implementation for proprietary AS400 database software.
